The Grove Counseling Center...
is a non-profit organization offering a comprehensive service system for the prevention and treatment of substance use disorders and behavioral health problems in Central Florida. Our treatment programs encompass the physical, mental and emotional dimensions of recovery by offering professional excellence in a safe, confidential environment.

The Grove's Outpatient Programs are available for adolescents and adults struggling with alcohol abuse or drug abuse and behavioral health problems, including depression and anxiety.
 
Outpatient Services include standard group and individual counseling, our Intensive Outpatient Program, Tobacco 411, Seminole County Adolescent Drug Court and respectful and efficient drug screenings.
 
We offer convenient scheduling and individualized treatment plans.
 
The Grove provides a variety of outpatient services in Longwood, and at our new home within The Community Food and Outreach Center in downtown Orlando.

Residential Treatment Program
The Grove Academy provides residential treatment for adolescents struggling with alcohol abuse and drug abuse.
 
A normal day at The Grove Academy includes individual counseling, small group counseling, school, physical and health education, life skills courses, Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, and personal time for relaxation and reflection. Patients usually reside at The Academy between four and six months.
 
The Academy offers a Partial Hospitalization Program, in which clients are dropped off each morning and participate in all the activities of the standard residential program, before being picked up each evening.
 
Our Family Program educates those closest to the patient about chemical dependency. Through small-group discussion with other families and counseling sessions between the patient, their family, and their therapist, families gain knowledge and practical skills to support their loved one through the recovery process.
