Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In Kansas KS

Alcohol Safety Action Project saved my life. I was an addict for 10 years of my life and it was a miracle that I survived during that time. The facility is very welcoming, upscale and serene. The homes where we lived were very nice and the meals were AWESOME!

I am an employee, I come from a family of alcoholism, addiction and violence. When I see these women come through the doors, they are broken and lost as to the next step. The wonderful caring staff at Carousel Live LLC help them to regain their light, teaches them that they are worthy. If asked, "Would I recommend Carousel Live LLC to a family member " DEFINITELY, I would! The counselors are wonderful, caring, thoughtful and so supportive!! Carousel Live LLC strengths lie with the counselors, they are such a caring, strong group of women!! Windows, shower amenities, tech staff and intake staff. They are wonderful people. They lack focus, in turn, their attention to the patient is short and seems scattered.

All staff work together. Staff is 100% committed to helping the clients in anyway possible. Topeka Treatment Center LLC is an amazing facility. They are always putting there hand out to help in anyway possible. Topeka Treatment Center LLC teaches the client how to be healthy.

Valeo Recovery Center rehab center has very friendly and supportive staff. I always feel welcomed when arriving and never embarrassed. It is somewhat expensive. It is a lovely "campus." The family day activities are nice. I never felt completely alienated from my family. The staff are supportive and fair while I was detoxing. I feel like the staff are compassionate and understanding of the worst monsters.

KS Substance Abuse Facts

Compulsive substance abuse, which is a major public health problem, is risky and harmful to a person’s physical and mental health. Across the country, people are plagued by drug or alcohol issues, and Kansas residents are no exception. The following statistics about substance abuse amongst Kansas residents aged 12 or older provide a small snapshot of the problem. In 2015:

  • About 292,000 individuals had used marijuana.
  • Roughly 3,000 people abused heroin.
  • About 141,000 individuals were addicted to alcohol.
  • Approximately 28,000 people used cocaine that year.

In 2015 in a single-day count, approximately 11,471 people were receiving substance addiction treatment services in Kansas. While this number is an increase from a single-day estimate from 2013, there is still a large number of people who fail to access the services of a Kansas rehabilitation program and continue to suffer the destructive consequences of addiction. Professional treatment services can provide people with the support and care necessary to get sober.

Getting Addiction Treatment Help

Finding treatment can be a difficult prospect when you’re overwhelmed with options. If you don’t know where to begin, call us to speak to a recovery representative about your substance abuse treatment options.

If you’ve found facilities in the directory but want to learn more, don’t hesitate to call the programs directly to get details on how treatment program operates. Creating a list of questions to ask based on your preferences can be helpful. Examples of questions include:

  • What is the patient-to-staff ratio?
  • What is the price and length of the program?
  • Do you accept insurance and what insurance do you take?
  • Do you create individualized treatment plans?
  • Do you offer dual diagnosis treatment? (Important if you’re suffering from a co-occurring mental health disorder)
  • Do you offer detox services?
  • Do you create aftercare/discharge plans?
  • What extra amenities or services do you offer?

Other questions may come up while you are on the search for the best fit for you. Your priorities and preferences may change as well as you begin to learn more about each program.

Where Else Can I Find Help?

Once you have made the commitment to seek help for your addiction to drugs or alcohol, you may be wondering how you can pay for your treatment, especially if you have no insurance or minimal coverage. If this situation applies, there are several potential avenues of funding that may serve as an alternative to insurance coverage or out-of-pocket expenditure, including:

  • SAMHSA grants: Grants made available by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration can help to reduce the cost of addiction treatment.
  • State programs: State-funded treatment programs utilize government money to offer affordable rehab prices to individuals in need.
  • Payment plans and sliding scales: If paying for rehab up front would cause significant financial burden, some rehabs may allow people to pay for treatment in regular installments or work with them to modify the cost according to their income.
