Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In Oklahoma OK

Therapy based on individuals needs. Mental Health Services of Southern OklahomaBryan County had a super clean environment. No hesitation in recommending this facility to a family member or a friend. It is a warm and caring environment. Their program is awesome and uses proven modalities. I appreciated all of the hard work that the case managers did for me.

Gary E Miller Candian County is truly the best place you could send someone who’s addicted to drugs. My brother went there last year and he’s changed so much in that time. He went from shooting heroin to helping people get off heroin. Went from manipulating my mom out of money or just stealing money from our parents to working hard to get them paid back. He hasn’t paid them back completely but he sends them money from every paycheck he gets and he’s proud of the fact that he’s able to do it. He’s taken so much from my parents that to see him trying so hard to make up for it is amazing. I had stopped talking to him 2 years before he went to Gary E Miller Candian County. I was just sick of watching him ruin his life and when he stole a bunch of money from our parents I was just done. He started writing me letters when he got out detox at Gary E Miller Candian County. I was worried the first time I got one of his letters because every rehab he’s gone to before going to Gary E Miller Candian County all he did was complain about them. He hated being at them or he hated the people or the staff weren’t nice, it was always something and so I was expecting the same thing from him this time. However, I could tell that Gary E Miller Candian County was different for him. He told me that the detox he went through wasn’t too bad and that the detox staff really helped him get through it fairly comfortably. He loved the staff there and throughout his programs the letters continued to praise the program and the people working there. While he was there he told me that he had decided that he wanted to do the same thing with his life. He wanted to work there and help people get off drugs. That was a shock for me as I didn’t think he’d ever be that intent on helping others. He got to choose the program he did at Gary E Miller Candian County. He talked with his counselor about it of course the decision of how he was going to help himself get off drugs was ultimately up to him and that made a huge difference for him. He told me that when he decided on the program he was going to do was when he made the decision to really do that program and get sober for good. He started playing the guitar again. He was always playing when we were growing up but he sold his guitar to get heroin and so stopped playing. They have a music room at Gary E Miller Candian County where he spent most of his free time. By the time my brother finished his program we were talking on the phone again and I was so happy to have my brother back in my life. He is back at Gary E Miller Candian County working and he’s doing amazing. I don’t worry about him so much anymore and I know that he’s doing something he loves. It’s been such a great year with my brother and just knowing that he’s going to continue to do good is pretty awesome.

Gives you a few different angles to attack your addiction with and is an incredibly safe place to get clean. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in every aspect. They worked as a team, to bring to the table individual needs as well as the needs of the group. Facility is of high quality in very clean. The staff and therapists were maxing. Southwestern Youth Services Inc Altus taught me the skills to stay clean and also helped me with life skills.

Great - staff was fantastic! I will keep in touch!

OK Substance Abuse Facts

The state of Oklahoma has one of the highest rates of opioid prescribing in the U.S., a number that has remained steady over the last few years.

In 2013, a plan was put in place by the state with the goal of reducing unintentional opioid overdose deaths by 15% over a 5-year period. It included plans to increase the availability of treatment in the state, increase funding of and expand community-based opioid treatment services, and provide ongoing support of naloxone programs within the community.

Statistics show that improvements have been made since its launch, with opioid overdose death rates decreasing by 9% from 2013-2014There is still work to be done, however, as both prescription and illicit drugs take many lives each year.

Getting Addiction Treatment Help

There are many rehab options for you in Oklahoma, with more than 100 different facilities to choose from. Here are some things you should ask before making a final decision:

  • Is the center accredited? Accredited facilities are evaluated by organizations, like the Joint Commission, on their ability to provide safe and quality care and treatment to all patients.
  • What credentials or licensing do the staff have? Make sure you’re comfortable with the expertise of the medical staff and therapists.
  • Are there any success stories from past patients? Reading online reviews from patients can also help you decide whether a rehab center is right for you.
  • Do the programs address your religious or spiritual beliefs?
  • Does the center provide ongoing support once you leave treatment? Aftercare is critical to living a healthy and sober life following rehab.

You can take the stress out of sorting through all the Oklahoma rehabs by calling us and speaking to an addiction support advisor today. A confidential, free call to a member of our support team can provide you with treatment information so that you may better choose the right program for you.

Where Else Can I Find Help?

Something to consider when choosing a rehab is the cost. The price of rehab can vary depending on several factors, such as location, amenities, length of stay, and types of programs provided.

If you’ve found the perfect center for you but don’t have enough money upfront, you may still have some options. Check whether they accept insurance, ask about sliding-scale fees or payment plans, or apply for a personal loan. Your family and friends may even be willing to help you pay for treatment.
