User Reviews: I m so grateful to have had the opportunity to come to Brian s Safehouse and get the help that I received. The staff and all the volunteers loved me and fought for me at a time when I couldn t love or fight for myself. Being a resident there was a big change for me as the structure was a struggle and accountability was nothing I had ever experienced before. Being apart of a structured program allowed me to focus on doing what I m suppose to be doing and the accountability helped me stay on track. The curriculum was the best part for me! I was able to learn so much about myself and life struggles through the classes we had in the mornings Monday-Friday. Being able to learn tools and skills that I could apply for solutions to the problems in my life really helped me change the way I live life. I m able to live life more skillfully by apply these principles to my daily life. I have had long term sobriety since graduating the program with coming up on my 8th year of sobriety. When I surrendered and just allowed people to help me and took my hands out of the process then a great life of recovery was started for me and I ve been able to build on that foundation and continue to have a sober successful life. The program works if you will work the program!!

Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In West Virginia WV

Laundry available. Safe and clean environment. All staff member are highly dedicated to help all clients in any way. very great treatment and caring staff. Understanding and compassion were displayed and appreciated. I am very pleased with the time I spent here.

Excellent staff. Highest level of treatment.

The only other thing I can say is it has really helped me a great deal and I would suggest anyone go there. This program really cares about dad. They are patient, very educational about recovery and the 12 step program is great. Their food is also great.

I have been to rehab now 3 times and this was by far the best experience I have had. I stayed for 41 days and the experience was amazing. It is true when they say that Jacob's Ladder at Brookside Farm is the best, cause they are! They treat the underlying causes of the disease and not just have you stop using. My therapist was great, the management is so understanding and amazing. It really is like a family. I am now at a sober living but I miss Jacob's Ladder at Brookside Farm but I promised, I will only go back as a success story on alumni day. Thank you, Leanne, Jeff and the rest of the amazing people here. If you have a problem, this is the ONLY place to call.

WV Substance Abuse Facts

Drug abuse has deadly consequences, a fact exemplified in the rising numbers of overdose deaths throughout the United States. Unfortunately, West Virginia is no exception to the current epidemic. Consider the following statistics:

  • Drug overdose deaths rose by nearly 17% between 2014 and 2015.
  • WV was the leader in per capita drug overdoses (41.5 per 100,000) in 2015.
  • The number of heroin-related deaths is almost 30 times higher than just 10 years ago.
  • WV has the 11

High rates of substance abuse in the state may correspond with mental health issues and suicidal thoughts and behaviors. In fact, between 2014 and 2015, the number of West Virginians who had serious suicidal thoughts was slightly higher than the national average (4.2% compared to 4%). The good news is that treatment can make the difference between losing your life to drugs and/or alcohol, and living a happy healthy life in recovery.

Getting Addiction Treatment Help

There are numerous programs available to help you break free from addiction’s grip. If you’re unsure of whether to choose an inpatient or outpatient program, you may wish to call your insurance company to see what types of treatment are covered. Also, evaluate your specific needs: can you realistically stay sober if you continue living at home in your current environment? For many people, the initial part of treatment requires them to get away to a completely sober environment where they can focus solely on sobriety and learning the skills they’ll need to stay abstinent when they return home.

If you need help discussing your options, call us any time of day to speak to a treatment support specialist who can help guide you toward the right fit.

Where Else Can I Find Help?

If you’re worried about paying for a rehab program, don’t fret. You may still be able to afford it with options such as:

  • Financing programs through the treatment center: Many programs will offer some sort of payment plan through the center or through a third-party lender.
  • Sliding scales: Some programs will arrange a fee with you based on what you can afford.
  • State-funded rehab centers: Certain rehab centers are funded by the government to provide necessary treatment to those struggling with addiction.

When considering the cost of treatment, remember that, in the end, the toll that addiction takes on your life is far greater.
