Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In Indiana IN

I am very thankful to Substance Abuse Treatment Fairbanks Alcohol and Drug Treatment for helping me overcome my addiction. My recovery means so much to my family and I can finally spend a real sober time with them and my children.

Excellent facility. The recovery is hard and it takes time but with the help that this caring staff gives you, it can be easier. The clinical staff at Narcotics Anonymous - Meeting Times is as good as it gets. Great staff along with the program. Really caring about the people that are treating. It was a positive experience for me on my journey to recovery.

So pleased with the staff and therapist. Very comfortable place to be all around-people, rooms, food. This is a great rehab center. Staff was very nice and accommodating! The counselors and assistants at Meridian Health Services, Muncie work towards a common goal of providing healing patients from substance abuse. The over all treatment while attending Meridian Health Services was eye opening, I was able to find myself in a safe place surrounded by people who honestly care about me.

Bloomington Meadows GP went above and beyond my expectation. I highly recommend this center!

IN Substance Abuse Facts

Chronic drug and alcohol abuse exert their debilitating effects on both a national and state-wide level. The percentage of residents in Indiana abusing substances is comparable to that of the national average, and amounts to devastatingly high numbers of people feeling the negative impact of drug abuse and addiction. Below are some revealing statistics surrounding substance abuse among Indiana residents aged 12 or older:

  • Approximately 15,000 people used heroin in 2015.
  • About 325,000 individuals had an addiction to alcohol that same year.
  • In 2015, an estimated 760,000 people reported past-year marijuana abuse, and 67,000 people tried marijuana for the first time.
  • That same year, about 68,000 individuals reported past-year cocaine use.

More than 25,000 people in Indiana were enrolled in a substance abuse program in 2015 and just over 7,000 individuals were being treated with methadone for opioid dependence. This means that only a fraction of the people who would benefit from addiction treatment actually received it. Regardless of your situation, it’s never too late to seek out a professional substance abuse treatment program that can support you on your path to sobriety.

Getting Addiction Treatment Help

If you’re ready to find an addiction treatment program but are unsure where to begin, there are a few ways to go about finding a program. You can always call us to speak to a recovery support specialist about available treatment programs. Further, if you have insurance, you can call your insurance provider to inquire about your substance abuse coverage.

Additionally, if you’ve been researching various treatment programs in your desired location, you can always call the facilities directly and inquire about program details. If you know what qualities you’re looking for in a recovery center, you can write down questions beforehand to ask when you call, such as:

  • Do you have any scholarships available?
  • How much does the program cost, and do you take insurance?
  • Are there any upscale or holistic services or amenities?
  • Do you create individualized treatment plans based on unique patient needs?
  • What is the program’s visitor policy?

Of course, you may have other questions you’d like to ask different treatment centers. This is not meant to be an exhaustive list, but a starting point you can modify and expand upon.

Where Else Can I Find Help?

There are several addiction treatment financing options available to you if you don’t have insurance. In some cases, these payment methods might even be combined to help make the price of recovery more affordable. You can pay for substance abuse treatment in the following ways:

  • Crowdfunding: You can create an online campaign to ask those close to you to financially support your recovery.
  • Grants: You can apply for grants through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
  • State programs: Some treatment centers are funded by the state of Indiana to help mitigate the costs of addiction treatment for Indiana residents.
  • Payment plan: Substance abuse treatment programs may adjust payment schedules to allow people to pay off their recovery program over a predetermined period of time.
  • Sliding scale: Some recovery programs will reduce their rates for low-income individuals.
