Group Discussions based on 12 step teachings.
Family Unification. Most of our bridges are burned during the dark moments of our active addiction. Our families are the ones who have been hurt the most. Addiction is not a spectator sport, and everyone has a part to play. We have a very extensive knowledge to teach you how to bridge that gap.
Family sessions: Along with teaching our residents how to deal with family and friends, we will set up family sessions in order to begin the line of communication.
Employment Skills Training: Most of us lose that sense of pride, and love for the fruit of our labor when drugs overcome our lives. Here we will help you strengthen the confidence in your abilities.
Educational/Career Goals: Here at the Gift House, our residents can choose to look for work or continue their education career. We are capable of providing transportation to either one or even both.
Dual Diagnosis Treatment and Education: For a large population of drug addicts, mental health has also been a life long battle. Here we are fully understanding of such trials, and are able of identify the triggers that affect the mind, or the disease of addiction. We also have a strong resources for counseling,hospitalization,and support programs to deal with any situation that may arise with those facing a dual diagnosing.
Counseling/Treatment Referrals: We have more than 8 years of experience here in South Florida. We have seen which rehab centers care, which counseling service listens, and who is out for profit, and who is out of the suffering addict. We commit to find you the best possible service you need.
Transportation: We provide reliable transportation for 12 step meetings,doctor appointments, court obligations, school, work, or any legitimate affairs that we can assist you with.
