Serenity Counseling Services strives to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and families struggling with substance abuse and/or mental health disorders. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy serves as the primary component of our program, focusing on teaching individuals how to eliminate self-defeating thoughts and behaviors specific to cognitive functioning.  Through education, structure and support, we equip individuals with the tools necessary to increase self-esteem and personal autonomy, in order to make healthy choices and live more enriched lives. At Serenity Counseling Services, we understand the pressure and anxiety some individuals experience as they ascertain the many requirements associated with their legal issues.  Serenity Counseling Services has a strong reputation with the community in offering fair and accurate DUI assessments.

Kolmac Clinic provides drug and alcohol rehabilitation, detoxification, and continuing care for adults on an outpatient basis. Rehabilitation occurs through group therapy and education. Patients initially attend five times each week for three hours. The frequency of these sessions is gradually reduced as progress is made over a period of eight weeks, typically totaling 20 to 30 sessions by completion. Detoxification from alcohol and drugs, when required, is accomplished safely and comfortably by one of the Kolmac medical staff. As part of our commitment to treating our patients, we also offer the family and close friends of patients an opportunity to learn more about the disease and get the support they need in the Family & Friends group.
