About this Facility

Phoenix Families provides vulnerable women and their children with a warm and welcoming haven as they transition to safe, sustainable housing and achieve economic independence.  Phoenix Families’ caring staff is committed to helping mothers build the life skills and support networks necessary to create a better future for themselves and their children. 
The program offers a positive living environment, a culture that encourages self-improvement and mutual self-help, and an expectation of achieving productive, independent lives.  Phoenix Families is located on the campus of St. Mary’s Women and Children’s Center, a community-based multiservice agency that provides support services, including education and job training, to women as well as pregnant and parenting teens.  St. Mary’s Campus is also home to Phoenix House Dorchester Center, our residential family substance abuse treatment program for mothers and their children.
