Overview

The Perry Wellness Center offers assistance to those with mental illness and addictive disorders.

They offer:

• Group therapy called "Peer Support"" where patients participate in group therapy and education, arts and crafts, and educational activities.
• Mental Health Services such as rehabilitation, intervention, and support, crisis intervention, mental health assessments, psychological evaluations, referral services, and development of treatment plans

• A fitness center to promote health and wellness, outdoor activities, healthy eating, and nutritional counseling

Perry Wellness Center also has a produce market where they carry fresh produce, flowers, pickles, and garden decor.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:00pm

Payment is on a sliding fee scale based on income and other factors, also accepted is cash or self payment and Medicaid.

At our center, we provide a variety of behavioral health services to individuals with mental illness and/or substance abuse problems. Our services are peer-led and peer-operated.

The Perry Wellness Center operates as a peer support center, serving males and females ages nineteen and older. Our services include a variety of peer support groups, arts, and crafts, educational activities, and health and wellness activities. We also provide some traditional mental health services, either directly or through referral.
Our treatment philsophy is based upon a recovery model, as we believe that mental illness and addiction are treatable and that individuals can engage in full lives in their communities. We also base our treatment upon the support of peers in the recovery process. The majority of our staff have faced their own struggles with mental illness or addiction and serve as mentors to others deadling with their own behavioral health problems.
The center is open Monday - Fridat, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with many after-hours activities often provided.
