Overview

The purpose of the FSL Alcohol and Chemical Dependency Treatment Program is to provide comprehensive services for adolescents and adults.These programs provide screenings, assessments, treatment, and evaluations to assist in determining what level of care is needed to support outpatient recovery and maintain abstinence. FSL Family Centers treat individuals who are consumed by the disease of addiction. Substance abuse is a rising epidemic in our nation, affecting most Long Island families in one form or another. This is a disease that knows no age, race, gender, or socioeconomic status, and while there is no cure for substance dependency, there are a variety of treatment regimens that can channel the addicted person toward a path that’s free from substance addiction.
