Provides substance abuse services for people in Los Angeles County. It offers self-help support groups for alcohol and drug abusers age 16 and older and a specialized self-help support group called Moderation Management for people age 21 and older who are in the early stages of problem drinking and Smart Recovery for those wanting to maintain abstinence. The agency offers an alternative to the twelve-step recovery philosophy. The agency recommends that people attend one to two meetings per week for a minimum of one year. There are no geographic restrictions.
