Treatment Center Philosophy

The Right Step has been treating patients with chemical dependency issues for more than 20 years. The Dallas North facility offers outpatient alcohol and drug addiction treatment for men and women over 18. Clients spend 10 hours a week in individual and group sessions learning how to reframe addictive thought patterns, utilize healthy coping skills, and rely on 12-step principles to live a productive and fulfilling life in sobriety. The rehab is designed for individuals who are transitioning out of residential care or attending work or in school and cannot commit to inpatient residential care, but still need a treatment program to maintain a sober lifestyle.

Areas of Specialization

Aftercare Services
Clients are invited to take advantage of up to two years of no-cost aftercare support upon the successful completion of treatment. Program offerings include services such as counselor referrals and weekly group therapy sessions. Clients are encouraged to collaborate with their peers in order to strengthen support networks and reinforce positive recovery strategies.
Family Therapy Group
In Family Therapy Group, family members of those affected by addiction process the emotions, experiences, and thought processes that often arise when watching a loved one battle substance abuse. Family group therapy is available independent of Intensive Outpatient services.
