Addiction of any kind results in "Life out of Balance", physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. The process of regaining balance and redirecting the vision of one's life is the primary goal of treatment at Satori Recovery.
Mindfulness meditation practices allow people to be present in their life experiences and are a primary teaching at Satori Recovery. All clients are instructed in the practice of meditation and are encouraged to experience conscious states of deep silence and surrender.The transformative effect of meditation greatly improves impulse control and frustration tolerance. Balance is achieved by waking up to the present moment, hence the name Satori, "Awakening".

Areas of Specialization

Residential Treatment
Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Treatment plans as specific to individual needs. Program ranges from 30-90 days, based on clients needs.
Trauma & Associative Awareness Therapy (AAT)
Associative Awareness Therapy (AAT) uses the brain’s innate ability to adapt to change in a healing way, essentially “retraining” the brain to respond differently to familiar memories of trauma or pain.
