Juniper House is the Licensed Shelter operated under the REAL House umbrella of treatment services. Our goal is to provide a setting where residents learn to empower themselves through making positive choices for their future. We encourage women to slow down and take some time in getting to know who they are so they may create a plan for the future where they can be healthy and self-supporting. Juniper House treats WFNJ/SAI clients exclusively and the length of stay is generally 9 MONTHS.


Located in Montclair, New Jersey near Bloomfield Ave, Juniper House is an ideal treatment setting. Only short bus ride from the welfare offices at 18 Rector Street and 50 South Clinton, our clients have ready access to the services they need. Social security, super market, laundry, and a wide variety of support groups are all within walking distance.
