Traugott Terrace is committed to fulfilling the vision of its namesake and founders by serving those who have been disenfranchised through alcohol and drug addiction.? We strive for excellence by providing an atmosphere of dignity and respect for our tenants, staff, and partners.

Traugott Terrace is a community specifically designed to provide supportive housing to persons in recovery from alcohol and/or drug addiction. Therefore, there are some basic eligibility requirements that must be met. These requirements include but are not limited to the following:
??? Recovery from alcohol and/or drug addiction must be the primary service need
??? Must be actively engaged in a verifiable program of recovery/relapse prevention
??? Must be able to verify a clean and sober lifestyle (homeless floor – minimum 45 days; permanent floor – minimum 90 days) through an acceptable program of recovery/relapse prevention
??? Cannot be on methadone maintenance
??? Must be able to actively comply with the terms of the case management agreement & lease agreements
??? Must be a single man or woman, 18 years or older
??? For homeless housing, must meet the McKinney definition of homeless (call us if you are unsure)
??? Must be able to live independently and actively participate in the community
??? Cannot be a full-time student (as defined by the institution where enrolled)
??? Must be able to provide references from professional service providers
??? Cannot have history of evictions, violence, or serious property destruction
??? Must meet income eligibility requirements for the apartment for which application is made
??? Cannot have any level 1, 2, or 3 sexual offense convictions
??? Cannot have an arson conviction
??? Cannot have a murder conviction within the last 20 years
??? Must be one-year post incarceration – subject to other considerations
??? Must not have been convicted of a felony within the last 3 years – subject to other considerations
