Durango Recovery Center utilizes evidence based interventions and innovative medical, therapeutic and experiential treatment strategies to treat opioid and substance use addiction. DRC provides a path to wellness focused on empowerment, the cultivation of personal passions, and the discovery of individual purpose. Our highly qualified and committed staff provide treatment based in current scientific research, in a serene and confidential setting. Privacy, respect, and successful recovery for our residents is our focus. DRC is a non-12-step program in conjunction with medication assisted treatment (MAT) that utilizes methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone to support successful recovery, as well as a focus on mental health and self-care, outdoor adventure and recreation, nutrition, building community, and other aspects of wellness to promote long-term recovery.

Outpatient
Outpatient treatment describes all addiction treatment that is not residential. Patients live at home while undergoing rehab.
Residential Treatment
Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.
