What you will find at Bayshore is a large home on a bayou with a resident heron on the dock. Your eyes might linger on the original artwork on the walls as you relax in the den reading a book. Your taste buds might even thank you for the fresh crab cakes with a lemon buerre blanc, wilted spinach, and mashed potatoes. You might finally get a complete night’s rest on the extra long pillowtop mattress in between the 300+ thread count sheets. Being only one of just six people at a time might allow you to be heard AND allow you to listen. You just might even find you again.

Areas of Specialization

Healing the body
Through light cardio workouts, “sweat time” in a dry sauna, massages from licensed therapists, and weekly yoga instruction, your body will start to heal itself. Likewise, healthy gourmet meals are prepared daily by our on-site chef who shops daily for the freshest ingredients. Meals are adapted to your taste and desires and our dietitian will be there to advise with any particular questions. This will give you the fuel to accomplish this.
Healing the mind
As the body heals, so should the mind. You will meet with your Counselor after you arrive to complete a Psychosocial Assessment. This allows the Counselor to learn who you are mentally and emotionally. It also makes you think about the same things. Upon completion, a treatment plan for Counseling and Life Skills Training will be developed with your input based on the treatment options.
