Treatment Center Philosophy

Addictions Recovery Center is dedicated to providing southern Oregon with state-of-the-art alcohol and drug addiction treatment. Through education and support, the facility strives to inspire hope and healthy choices in each and every person seeking help for chemical dependency. Evidence-based practices and services unique to ARC are employed by a multidisciplinary treatment team that’s renowned for creativity, innovation, and true concern for its clients at every stage of recovery.

Areas of Specialization

12-Step
The term “12 Step Program” describes a way to recover from addiction that is based on the model developed by Alcoholics Anonymous. Many drug and alcohol treatment centers base their treatment on 12 steps – the first three of which are situational, the next four addressing the practical issues created by the addiction, followed by two steps focused on making amends for hurting others. Steps 10 and 11 involve a deeper examination of the previous steps and the final step is focused on helping others avoid and recover from addiction.
Client & Family Support Groups
Group therapy is a vital component of addiction recovery treatment, considered as important and effective (sometimes even more so) than individual therapy. Benefits include reducing isolation and loneliness and providing the opportunity to learn from others in recovery. In the addiction setting, group therapy is run by trained professionals who guide participants toward a shared goal of recovery.

User Reviews: There are better treatment providers in this area. There was no leadership at this facility. All of the clinical staff had to work on insurance utilization reviews and could not focus on patient care. Patient care was not a priority.

User Reviews: I’ve had been dealing with alcohol dependency for years before I arrived at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation and to say the truth, I wasn’t sure if it was going to work. I had heard good remarks about the facility from a friend of mine so I took a decision to take a shot. I’m thankful that I’m a sober person now. I’ve become a functional individual whose back to living a normal life. If it wasn’t for the caring and attentive staff at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, I wouldn’t have recovered the way I have now. It was a great experience overall considering they offer awesome food, great indoor and outdoor environment and a number of recreational activities which all add up to make you feel like you’re on a vacation. Thank you!
